For example, we may need to request a credit report from a credit reporting agency when you apply for a credit facility. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP INFORMATION ABOUT YOU?
By law, we are required to hold certain information about you, even after you are no longer a Crystal Blue Commercial Loans client. However, after such time you can be assured we will destroy your personal information thoroughly and safely.
We may also hold certain information about you if it is needed for a purpose which you are aware of or reasonably expect us to hold the information. When that information is no longer needed, it will be destroyed or permanently de-identified.
BUSINESS WITHOUT IDENTIFYING YOU
In most circumstances it will be necessary for us to identify you in order to successfully do business with you, however, where, it is lawful and practicable to do so, we will offer you the opportunity of doing business with us, without providing us with personal information.
Such a situation would be where you make general inquiries about interest rates or current promotional offers. Where sensitive information is collected, stored, used or transferred about you, we will only use this information if you have consented or in the exercise or defence of a legal claim. Sensitive information is information relating to your racial or ethnic origin, political persuasion, memberships in trade or professional association or trade unions, sexual preferences, criminal record, or health.

- If you do not get a satisfactory outcome after 45 days, you have the right to lodge a complaint to the Financial Industry Complaints Service (FICS). Please download a FICS Complaint Form from www.fics.asn.au and complete it according to the instructions and the information outlined in the document Important Information About Lodging a Complaint. You can contact FICS on 1300 780 808 if you need help completing the form or require any other assistance. The completed FICS Complaint Form and copies of any supporting documents, including details of how the amount of your claim has been calculated can be mailed to:
